Senior HR Director, Commercial Sweden - Solna

We are looking for a highly experienced and talented Senior HR Director who proactively will develop and drive the people agenda, enabling short and long term business success. In this role you have the opportunity to make a true difference by continuing to develop and future proof our business, and HR function.

About the role

You will act as a strategic advisor, sparring partner and subject matter expert to the Managing Director and the Swedish leadership team in respect of implementing the overall business strategy as well as managing the day-to-day operation. You will lead the collaboration with your HR colleagues in Supply Chain & HR operations in Sweden, the “Troika”, where your shared responsibility is to further develop and drive the Swedish people agenda. The People agenda, which is based on the overall Arla People strategy, aim at enabling short and long term business success.

You will act as a HRBP for the Commercial organisation in Sweden. You will function as a guardian of HR excellence, ensure implementation of global people processes and provide professional support and advice for the line management on all areas of the employee life-cycle.

This position is part of the Swedish leadership team and the Europe HR leadership team, reporting to VP HR Europe and with a dotted line to the Managing Director of Sweden.

The role is placed at our office in Stockholm.

How you will make an impact

You either hold a relevant degree within Business, HRM or an equivalent discipline and your solid experience in developing organisations and leaders have given you in-depth knowledge of both strategic and operational HR.

You have acted as a senior HR business partner in international matrix organisations and proven experience of driving change and organisational transformation – preferable within FMCG or other consumer goods industries. Further, we will be looking for:

• Experience in leadership development and fostering a winning culture


• Proven ability of defining and implementing a strategic people agenda


• Extensive experience from operating as a senior leader in an international matrix environment, and achieving results through influence, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.


• Experience from working with works councils


• Proven track record of delivering results, high proactiveness & “can-do” attitude which enable the person to deliver sustainable results in a changing environment


• Strong business acumen.

Exposure to AI, digitalization and modern people practices is a plus.
