Service technician

We are looking for a Service Technician to join us and play an important role in delivering high-quality service and technical expertise to our customers across Sweden. We are ideally looking for someone based in Sundsvall, but Stockholm can also be considered. At Endress+Hauser Sweden, we combine local presence with global expertise, supporting key industries with reliable measurement solutions and long-term partnerships.

This role brings all those elements together, as part of our Service organization where you will work independently in the field while staying closely connected to your colleagues and customers. 

Which tasks will you perform?

You will: 

• Install, commission, and perform service on optical gas analysis instruments at customer sites


• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of installed equipment


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a structured and efficient manner


• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings as part of installation and service activities


• Document service activities, work orders, and customer interactions accurately in CRM systems


• Support customers on-site by providing technical guidance and ensuring high service quality

What do we expect from you?

You: 

• Have a technical background within instrumentation, automation, or electrical engineering


• Bring previous experience from a service technician, instrument technician, or similar role, or are a recent graduate from a relevant technical education within automation or service engineering


• Have strong ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings


• Are fluent in Swedish and communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken


• Hold a valid driver’s license and are comfortable with frequent travel, including overnight stays


• Have a structured and organized way of working, with strong attention to detail


• Are a problem-solver with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset


• Demonstrate strong customer focus and enjoy working in a service-oriented role

Meritorious:

• Experience with electrical work


• Knowledge of signal handling, data communication, PLC programming or automation systems


• Previous experience working with CRM systems
