Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) – Electronics (Wiring Harness Focus)
Contract: 6-12 month contract with strong potential for extension

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) specializing in electronics, particularly wiring harnesses, to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in evaluating and supporting suppliers to meet our clients high standards, ensuring our suppliers have the capabilities to produce quality electronic components. We’re seeking a team player who brings both energy and expertise to our collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Supplier Evaluation: Assess and qualify potential suppliers in terms of capability and readiness to meet requirements for electronic components, especially wiring harnesses.


• 
  Project Leadership: Manage large supplier quality projects from end to end, with limited oversight, ensuring that all quality standards are met.


• 
  Technical Expertise and Support: Offer specialized knowledge in electronics to guide and support Supply Quality Engineers and other key stakeholders in critical production areas.


• 
  Mentorship and Development: Mentor and delegate work to junior team members, supporting their growth and maintaining high standards across the team.


• 
  Problem Solving: Tackle complex supplier quality issues, leveraging your expertise to ensure effective and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• 
  Experience: 8+ years in supplier quality engineering, particularly in electronics and wiring harnesses or related areas.


• 
  Technical Knowledge: Expertise in supplier evaluation and quality assurance for electronics.
