Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to work on the development of advanced defense and information systems. In these systems, hardware, software, communication solutions, IT systems, and security functions work together to deliver robust solutions for defense and critical infrastructure.

You will have a central role across the entire system lifecycle, making sure requirements turn into verifiable technical solutions and that the final delivery meets operational needs. You will work closely with project managers, developers, test engineers, and stakeholders, and help build structure, quality and technical coherence across projects. The work covers requirements analysis and breakdown, system architecture and design, system integration, traceability and change management, and verification and validation, including verification matrices, verification plans and test specifications.

• University or MSc degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience working with complex technical systems
• Solid understanding of requirements management, traceability, verification, and test methodology
• Ability to analyze technical problems and identify risks at an early stage
• Experience producing technical documentation
• Experience working cross-functionally in development projects
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken

Nice to Have

• Experience from the defense industry or defense sector
• Experience from NATO-related work
• Experience with Systems Engineering according to ISO 15288
• Experience with verification and validation of complex systems
• Experience with system integration
• Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, Polarion, Jama, Teamcenter, Qrendo or similar
• Experience with safety-critical systems
