Launch your career as a Management Trainee at Visma!

Are you a final-year student with big ambitions and a drive to make things happen? Are you looking for diverse learning opportunities, a variety of projects to dive into, and a close-knit community of fellow trainees? Oh, and a job guarantee? We've got that too. Welcome to the Visma Management Trainee program!

We're opening up a limited number of Management Trainee positions starting autumn 2027. This one-year program is designed to help you grow, explore your strengths, and find your place in an international, thriving company.

A few words about us

Visma is a collective of 150+ business software companies operating across 28 markets. With 2.7 million customers and counting, we're on a mission to make business administration effortlessly simple for small businesses, large enterprises, and local governments alike.

The Management Trainee experience

As a Management Trainee, you'll work on five strategic projects across Visma's companies over one year. You'll have the chance to really contribute to Visma’s deliveries and work in various European locations, like Oslo or Amsterdam.

Read more about the program here.

This international program connects you with fellow trainees from Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. It all kicks off with an introduction week at our HQ in Oslo, followed by joint gatherings across Europe throughout the year. This gives you plenty of time to build connections that last well beyond the program.

Once you complete the year, you're guaranteed a permanent role within Visma. Together we'll help you land in the right place, and the five projects you lead are the perfect way to figure out where that is. Three former trainees are currently in top management, and previous trainees hold roles like Finance Director, AI Director, M&A Manager, Product Owner or Business Developer, to name just a few.

Who we’re looking for

Our Management Trainees come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique skills and personalities. What they all have in common is their curious mindset, proactive approach to innovation, and strong collaboration skills. They are critical thinkers, love to ask questions, thrive on responsibility and tend to have leadership ambitions. Proficiency in both Swedish and English communication is crucial.

If this sounds like you, and you’re finishing up a Master’s degree within business, management, finance, technology or IT by August 2027, we’d love to get to know you!

Why choose Visma?

At Visma, we go beyond the standard package. Here’s what makes us stand out.

We invest in your development. Personal and career growth are priorities here. From day one, you'll have a senior leader in Visma as your mentor, a dedicated program coordinator, and a former trainee as your buddy. You'll build a solid network to rely on for guidance and development.

Real responsibility. All the projects you will take lead on are strategic and business critical to Visma where you will leave your mark and bring us forward. We'll trust you to experiment and make decisions. That’s how you learn and grow.

A network of 150+ companies to explore. One of the biggest advantages of the program? You get to move across different companies, products, and roles, so by the end of the year, you'll know exactly where you want to take your career.

More than just colleagues. We have a warm, social culture with something for everyone: from yoga to monthly Friday Bars and international gatherings with your fellow trainees. We like to connect.

And the perks aren't bad either. Enjoy excellent pension and personal insurance, including health and travel insurance, company breakfasts, brainstorming sessions, highly modern office in central Stockholm, and access to company apartments in Chamonix and Marbella.

Application process

Applying is really easy!

Instead of a traditional cover letter, we want you to share your motivation for becoming a Management Trainee at Visma, and an example of how you utilise AI. Share your thoughts in a paragraph or two, approximately 100-150 words. Don't forget to upload your CV and higher education grade reports; screenshots of grades are okay if official reports aren't available.

We'll review applications right after the deadline and make sure to give feedback to everyone. Keep an eye on your spam folder, just in case!

Once you apply, you'll be invited to complete an online ability test and a personality assessment. If we think we are a great match, we'll invite you to a digital interview. For the final interview, we will invite you to visit our office in Stockholm, which will include a case study.

Remember to apply before the deadline: Sunday 15th of November 2026.
