Summer Trainee Operations Engineer

Do you want to join us during the summer as an Operations Engineer and operate Telia Company’s Nordic and Baltic network, which is the largest in the region? You will monitor and operate our networks to provide maximum performance and availability for our customers.

We ensure excellent customer experience 24/7/365, you as a summer trainee will support the 24/7 teams during daytime. We are looking to onboard you as an Operations Engineer with a genuine interest in technology, and a problem-solving and simplifying mindset, who can prioritize and handle multiple tasks with ease under pressure.

What you’ll do:

• Play a key role in ensuring seamless operation of the network and services

• Monitor and manage incidents end to end, ensuring timely and effective resolution

• Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

• Control and coordinate planned implementations and changes as part of the change management process

• Handle critical situations and trigger problem management processes when needed

• Follow up on problem resolution to ensure lasting fixes

• Collaborate closely with other teams to enhance technical skills and knowledge

• Contribute to delivering a world-class customer experience

What will help you thrive in this role:  

• Passion for technology and delivering excellent customer service

• Strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment

• Technical background with an interest in problem-solving and operations

• Completed or currently pursuing a degree in a technical or engineering-related field

• Fluency in both English and Swedish, with strong written and verbal communication skills

• Adaptability, curiosity, and service-oriented mindset

• Ability to manage complex issues independently while collaborating effectively with others
