Norvestor Private Equity
Norvestor is looking for a Sustainability Intern for a 12‑month full-time internship (preferably September 2026 – August 2027) to support our sustainability reporting and ESG data processes across our platform and portfolio. You will work closely with our Sustainability Associate, Head of Sustainability and a new Financial Controller based in Stockholm. Together, you will help make our sustainability reporting more structured, efficient and value-adding.
As a Sustainability Intern, you will support the design and continuous improvement of data collection processes, help maintain alignment with key frameworks such as SFDR, VSME, CSRD, EDCI, UNPRI, SBTi and the EU Taxonomy, and assist in coordinating with both internal teams and portfolio companies. You will not be expected to own all processes independently from day one, but you will play an important role in day‑to‑day execution and development of our reporting.
A core part of the work is to use digital tools – including AI – to make reporting more efficient, accurate and useful, both for Norvestor and for our portfolio companies. Many portfolio companies spend considerable time on data provision and questionnaires; your work will contribute to smarter processes and solutions that reduce this burden and free up time for real value creation.
This is an ideal opportunity for a student in the final year of a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree who is interested in sustainability/ESG reporting, wants to work close to the business in a leading Nordic private equity firm, and is keen to learn how sustainability data is used in practice.
Why us?
Learning and impact
You will be at the centre of how Norvestor and its portfolio companies meet growing expectations on sustainability transparency, regulation and performance. You will learn how sustainability data is collected, assured and used in investment and ownership decisions.
Innovation
You will have the opportunity to explore and help implement AI‑driven ways of working, reshaping how sustainability reporting is done and helping to reduce the reporting burden for portfolio companies.
Exposure and growth
You will work closely with the Sustainability Associate, Head of Sustainability, the new Financial Controller and the broader investment organisation, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making and portfolio‑wide sustainability initiatives. For the right candidate, this internship can be a strong platform for a future career in sustainability, finance or consulting.
If you are a final‑year student who wants to combine rigorous sustainability reporting with real value creation – and are excited about using data and AI to make this happen – we would be very interested to hear from you.
