Senior Digital Transformation & AI Value Creation Advisor - Freelance, Part-Time

We're currently looking for a Senior Digital Transformation & AI Value Creation Advisor for one of our offices in Stockholm, Warsaw, or Kaunas, with remote/hybrid flexibility. This is a part-time (30%) consultancy engagement for an experienced independent advisor.

What you’ll be doing

• Shape Karo’s digital transformation and AI roadmap, connecting initiatives to measurable business value, scalability and execution readiness.
• Redesign end-to-end processes to enable automation, advanced analytics and agentic AI.
• Advance Revenue Growth Management capabilities, including Gross-to-Net, Trade Promotion Management, pricing, promotions, rebates and deductions.
• Simplify and digitally enable Order-to-Cash and Customer Service processes, improving efficiency, accuracy, working capital and customer experience.
• Advise on the development of S&OP and Integrated Business Planning capabilities, including forecasting, scenario planning and cross-functional decision-making.
• Translate business needs into scalable enterprise architecture, data, integration and technology requirements.
• Provide independent challenge on solution design, vendor proposals and implementation approaches.
• Support business cases, transformation roadmaps, governance structures and execution planning while transferring knowledge to internal teams.

• Extensive experience in senior IT, digital transformation, CIO, CTO or enterprise technology leadership roles within international organisations.
• Proven track record of leading complex, multi-country digital transformation programmes and redesigning end-to-end business processes.
• Strong knowledge of AI, automation, advanced analytics and emerging digital technologies, with experience translating them into practical business use cases.
• Demonstrated expertise in several relevant areas, such as Revenue Growth Management, Gross-to-Net, Trade Promotion Management, Order-to-Cash, Customer Service, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, S&OP or Integrated Business Planning.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data governance, system integration and technology roadmap development.
• Experience working across Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Customer Service and IT functions.
• Experience within FMCG, consumer healthcare, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals or a private equity-backed environment is highly advantageous.
• Ability to operate as both a trusted strategic advisor and a hands-on execution partner.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, influencing, vendor management and implementation skills.
• Pragmatic and commercially minded, with the ability to simplify complexity, create structure and deliver in a fast-moving environment.
• Collaborative, discreet and comfortable constructively challenging established ways of working without relying on formal authority.
