About the Opportunity

A growing technology organisation is expanding its cloud security capability and is looking for a Cloud Security Consultant to join its team in Central Switzerland.

You’ll work with modern cloud environments and help organisations embed security into infrastructure, applications and software delivery from the outset. Rather than focusing purely on governance, the role combines technical security architecture with hands-on Cloud Security and DevSecOps consulting.

There is plenty of scope to work across modern cloud platforms, automation and secure development while continuing to deepen your expertise within an experienced technical environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and improve security architectures across public, private and hybrid cloud environments


• Advise on the secure adoption of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS


• Translate technical and business requirements into practical cloud security solutions


• Assess cloud environments and identify architectural weaknesses and security risks


• Support secure landing zones, identity architectures and network security designs


• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery processes


• Work across DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, container security and security automation


• Support data protection and information security initiatives within cloud environments


• Advise development and infrastructure teams on emerging security challenges, including AI-assisted development


• Contribute to technically complex cloud transformation and security projects

Your Profile

• At least 2–3 years of professional experience within Cloud Security, DevSecOps or a closely related security discipline


• Strong understanding of security within Azure, AWS or comparable cloud platforms


• Experience with cloud architecture concepts including identity, networking and landing zones


• Knowledge of CI/CD security, security automation and modern DevSecOps practices


• Experience with areas such as Infrastructure as Code, container security, code scanning or software supply chain security


• Exposure to data security technologies and approaches is advantageous


• Experience within regulated or security-sensitive environments is particularly valuable


• Relevant education within Computer Science, Cyber Security or a comparable discipline


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical security concepts effectively


• Fluent German and good English
