Data Migration & Technology Transformation SME

Overview

We are looking for a senior Data Migration / Technology
Transformation specialist with pharmaceutical or life-sciences experience to
provide independent advisory support across legacy-system migration, data
quality, technology dependencies, validation and reconciliation.

The consultant will assess the migration approach and
identify key risks and dependencies that could affect the Freeway Release 4
programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently
  assess the legacy-system data migration approach.
  
• Review
  data assessment, mapping, cleansing and transformation activities.
  
• Assess
  data validation and reconciliation considerations.
  
• Identify
  significant data-quality and migration risks.
  
• Recommend
  mitigation actions for identified risks.
  
• Assess
  dependencies between data migration and:
  
• Configuration
  
• MDM
  
• Integrations
  
• Testing
  
• Validation
  
• Business
  readiness
  
• Identify
  critical technology dependencies and decision points.
  
• Assess
  legacy-system transformation risks.
  
• Support
  integrated planning and RAID assessments.
  
• Provide
  input into release-readiness and cutover assessments.
  
• Produce
  clear assessment reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  
• Work
  across Business, IT, System Integrators and technology partners.
  

Requirements

Essential Experience

• Significant
  experience in large-scale enterprise data migration.
  
• Experience
  with legacy-system transformation.
  
• Experience
  in pharmaceutical/life sciences or another highly regulated environment.
  
• Experience
  with data mapping, cleansing, transformation and reconciliation.
  
• Experience
  with complex technology integrations.
  
• Experience
  with MDM.
  
• Experience
  with testing and validation.
  
• Strong
  understanding of GxP environments and pharmaceutical technology quality
  requirements.
  
• Experience
  identifying cross-functional technology dependencies.
  
• Experience
  producing risk assessments and executive-level recommendations.
  
• Experience
  working within complex transformation programmes.
  

Desirable

• Veeva
  Vault RIM migration experience.
  
• Regulatory
  technology transformation experience.
  
• Previous
  Novartis experience.
  
• Freeway
  or comparable regulatory-platform transformation experience.
  
• Experience
  with legacy regulatory systems.
  

On-site Requirement

Must be able to attend Basel during agreed critical phases.
