Job Description - Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer

Join an innovative industrial technology company that develops advanced digital solutions to improve the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of complex engineering and operational processes. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will work on cutting -edge AI and data science applications and help bring them from concept to production in a real -world industrial environment.

Design, develop, and deploy production -grade machine learning and data science solutions across various application domains, including computer vision, anomaly detection, time series forecasting, optimization, and Generative AI.
Collaborate closely with software engineers, domain experts, and product teams to transform research concepts into scalable software products and operational solutions.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including code management, testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance in a DevOps environment.

Requirements

MSc or PhD degree in Computer Science or Data Science

Proven track record in multiple projects involving software product development for data science and machine learning applications.

Experience in software engineering practices, code versioning, testing, and software release processes.

Experience developing and operating production software in modern DevOps environments.

Hands -on experience in one or more of the following areas: Computer Vision, Anomaly Detection, Time Series Forecasting, Multi -Objective Optimization, Generative AI and Agentic AI

Language: English, German as a plus

Duration: Permanent position

Workload: 80–100%

Location: Hybrid (ideally 3 days/week on -site in Zurich)
