Location: Geneva, Left Bank (Rive Gauche), Switzerland

Position type: Full-time, permanent private household position

Schedule: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: CHF 65,000 to 72,000 gross per year, depending on experience and profile

Start date: 1st October, by agreement

Household team: Working closely alongside the family's existing baby nanny / housekeeper

ABOUT THE POSITION

A private family based on Geneva's Left Bank is seeking an experienced and versatile Family Assistant / Nanny to join their household. The role combines the school run and transport to activities with errands, grocery shopping, some light cooking, and close, dependable support to the mother with day-to-day family logistics.

A baby nanny / housekeeper is already part of the household for the youngest child, so this position centres on the older children's routines and transport, and on keeping day-to-day life running smoothly, in close coordination with the existing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out school runs and transport to extracurricular activities.

Run errands and handle grocery shopping for the family.

Prepare simple, healthy meals for the children on occasion.

Provide close, proactive support to the mother with daily logistics and organisation.

Coordinate smoothly with the family's existing baby nanny / housekeeper.

Support the children's routines and homework, and oversee extracurricular activities.

Contribute to a well-organised, smoothly run household.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

At least 3 years of experience in a similar private household role.

Fluent in English and French.

Valid driver's licence, confident and comfortable driving in Geneva.

Discreet, proactive, warm, and highly reliable.

Flexible and comfortable working alongside existing household staff.

A genuine affinity for children and a natural sense of organisation.
