In this role, you will contribute your expertise in photonics, RF design, and high-speed data transmission to create technologies that deliver industry-leading performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Working in a collaborative international environment, you will be involved in every stage of technology development, from concept and design through characterization, validation, and manufacturing transfer.

What You'll Do

As a High-Speed Photonic Technology Engineer, you will:

• Drive innovation and contribute to the development of future high-speed communication solutions.
• Design, simulate, characterize, and optimize advanced photonic devices and semiconductor lasers.
• Lead or contribute to R&D projects from early technology development through production transfer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges related to products and manufacturing processes.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, or
• Master's degree combined with at least 3 years of relevant industrial or research experience.
• Strong expertise in RF design and simulations, high-speed data transmission, and photonic technologies.
• Hands-on experience characterizing high-speed photonic devices and semiconductor lasers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the German language.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary R&D environments.
• Experience taking new technologies from concept to manufacturing.
