As
IT Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational management of TEAM's technology estate. You will ensure that infrastructure, security, end-user technology and technology suppliers operate reliably, securely and efficiently while continually improving the services provided to the business.
Working closely with colleagues across IT, Data and Innovation, you will provide the operational foundation that enables TEAM's technology strategy to succeed. Your responsibilities will include the following:
Technology operations & service management- Ensure the availability, performance and security of TEAM’s IT systems and services, including Microsoft365, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure and related cloud services.
- Monitor IT systems and manage incidents, problems and changes to minimise downtime and improve service quality.
Infrastructure, security & resilience
- Manage and improve TEAM's IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, hybrid environments, storage, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Maintain a strong security environment by managing identity and access, network security, vulnerability management, patching, endpoint protection, security monitoring and incident response.
End user technology & supplier management
- Manage end-user devices and IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including purchasing, deployment, maintenance and secure disposal.
- Work with technology vendors, software suppliers and managed service providers to ensure reliable services.
Governance & continuous improvement
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, policies and procedures that support security, compliance and business continuity.
- Support IT budgeting, software licensing, audits and regulatory compliance.
- Help develop and deliver the Technology Operations roadmap by improving infrastructure, expanding cloud services, introducing automation and continuously improving IT services.
Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues while promoting teamwork, continuous improvement and excellent customer service.
