Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality across complex Java applications.


• Build scalable, maintainable production software with a strong focus on quality.


• Influence software architecture, technical design and engineering decisions.


• Improve and modernise existing systems as products continue to evolve.


• Take ownership of development from initial idea through to production.


• Solve challenging technical problems alongside experienced Software Engineers.


• Contribute ideas that improve code quality, performance and development practices.

Your Profile

We're interested in Software Engineers who genuinely enjoy building things and want to remain close to the code.

You'll ideally bring:

• Several years of professional Java development experience.


• Strong knowledge of software design, architecture and modern development principles.


• Proven experience building scalable, production-grade applications.


• Comfortable working across the wider development lifecycle, including CI/CD and DevOps practices.


• Broader development experience with JavaScript and modern web technologies is valuable.


• A pragmatic engineering mindset with the confidence to make and implement technical decisions.


• Professional fluency in German and good English.
