Foxmont Talent is partnering with a highly respected Swiss organisation to appoint an experienced IT Infrastructure Team Lead.

The organisation is currently making significant investment across its technology landscape, with major programmes focused on modernising infrastructure, cloud platforms, security and digital services. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong infrastructure leader who enjoys developing engineering teams while remaining closely involved in the evolution of modern Microsoft platforms.

You'll take responsibility for a skilled team working across business-critical Windows and workplace technologies, helping ensure that core infrastructure remains secure, resilient and highly available.

Working within a complex enterprise technology environment, you'll have the opportunity to influence technical direction, drive platform improvements and play an important role in the continued modernisation of Microsoft infrastructure and cloud services.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of experienced System Engineers responsible for enterprise Microsoft and Windows platforms.


• Drive continuous improvements across platform stability, security, performance and operational resilience.


• Help shape the technical direction of Windows infrastructure, modern workplace services and Identity & Access Management.


• Support the continued development and modernisation of Microsoft-based infrastructure across both on-premise and cloud environments.


• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security and wider technology teams to ensure reliable delivery of business-critical services.


• Provide technical leadership across complex infrastructure projects, platform improvements and operational challenges.


• Manage team priorities, resources and technical workloads across both project and operational requirements.


• Contribute to technology planning, supplier management and the evaluation of new infrastructure solutions.

Your Profile

We're looking for an experienced infrastructure professional who combines strong Microsoft expertise with proven leadership skills and enjoys helping both technology platforms and engineering teams develop.

To succeed in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Strong commercial experience across Microsoft infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Server and modern Windows environments.


• Previous experience leading, mentoring or developing System Engineers within a comparable technical environment.


• Experience with Microsoft Azure and modern cloud-based infrastructure technologies.


• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management technologies such as Entra ID and/or Okta would be advantageous.


• Exposure to Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM or modern workplace technologies.


• Experience working within large-scale enterprise or business-critical technology environments.


• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.


• A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in modernising infrastructure platforms and introducing new technologies.


• Professional fluency in German, together with confident communication skills in English.
