Night Nurse (New Born) in Coppet, Switzerland

A family based in Coppet, Vaud is looking for an experienced and caring Night Nurse to support them with the care of their 4-week-old baby.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with strong newborn experience who enjoys providing calm, attentive overnight care while helping both baby and parents get the rest they need. The family speaks both English and French, so fluency in either language is welcomed.

The Night Nurse will stay in the baby's nursery throughout the night, where a bed will be provided.

Location: Founex, Vaud, Switzerland

Schedule: Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 8:30 pm, with a 2-hour break at midday)

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive overnight care for a 4-week-old baby.
• Attend to feeding, settling, changing and comforting the baby throughout the night.
• Monitor the baby's wellbeing and follow the parents' preferred routines.
• Keep the nursery clean, tidy and organised.
• Maintain clear communication with the parents regarding the baby's night.

• Previous professional experience caring for newborns as a Night Nurse, Maternity Nurse, or Neonatal Nurse.
• Calm, nurturing, and reliable with excellent newborn care knowledge.
• Able to work independently during overnight hours.
• Fluent in English and/or French.
• First Aid certification is advantageous.
• Excellent references.
• Valid Swiss / EU Passport or Swiss Work Permit.
