ABOUT THE ROLE

Heritage Staffing is assisting a distinguished private client in Geneva in completing their fully staffed household. We are seeking an experienced Private Chef on an on-call basis to prepare the family's meals on selected weekends, ensuring continuity with the household's full-time culinary service.

The household operates in a semi-formal, high-standard environment. This hands-on role requires a deep understanding of refined, family-style cuisine, the ability to work autonomously and to collaborate smoothly with the household team, with flexibility, precision and discretion.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare lunch and dinner on scheduled weekend days, tailored to the family's tastes and habits.

Deliver healthy, balanced and flavourful meals, international and family-style, beautifully presented.

Coordinate with the Principals to finalise daily menu selections.

Prepare simple, nutritious meals for staff on duty.

Maintain an impeccably clean and organised kitchen, leaving it ready for the following service.

Occasionally handle purchasing and restocking when required.

Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Assist with occasional informal entertaining or small dinner gatherings.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Private Chef in a high-standard private residence or five-star hospitality setting.

Confident in preparing international cuisine, with a focus on fresh, seasonal and health-conscious meals.

Experienced in menu planning, kitchen management and service routines in a private setting.

Fluent French; English B2.

Available on weekends, with a frequency that may vary.

Swiss-based or holder of a valid Swiss work permit.

Highly organised with strong time management.

Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Comfortable working closely with a family and a broader household team.
