Software Engineer (PHP)

We are looking for an experienced developer who enjoys understanding complex systems end -to -end and improving an established production codebase. You should enjoy hands -on engineering work, take ownership, and contribute beyond simply completing assigned tasks.

You will work across the full stack - from machine communication and B2B integrations to backend systems and UI - within a small and focused engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve complex production issues
  
• Maintain and improve existing PHP and Java applications
  
• Design and execute structured system tests
  
• Support the gradual modernization of an established codebase
  
• Integrate machine software and external B2B interfaces
  
• Contribute to technical and architectural improvements over time
  

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  
• Experience of using PHP, Java and SQL.
  
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Linux would be an advantage.
  
• A hands -on mentality with a strong sense of ownership.
  
• Fluent English
