About the Opportunity

An established Swiss technology organisation is looking for an experienced Software Test Automation Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

You'll work across software, hardware and connected systems, taking responsibility for test automation, test infrastructure and quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated testing frameworks


• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases


• Help shape test architecture and infrastructure


• Apply risk-based and shift-left testing approaches


• Maintain and improve hardware-based testing environments


• Work across applications, connected devices and cloud components


• Collaborate with software, hardware and product specialists


• Contribute to testing standards and continuous improvement

Your Profile

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar


• Several years of software testing / quality engineering experience


• Strong hands-on test automation experience, ideally with C#


• Experience designing test frameworks, test cases and test suites


• Basic understanding of hardware interfaces or communication protocols


• ISTQB certification


• Experience with Scrum, SAFe or comparable agile environments


• Fluent German and English


• Structured, proactive and quality-focused approach
