About the Team

The Swiss Institutional Clients team at Rothschild & Co Bank AG is responsible for managing relationships with Swiss institutional investors (pension funds, foundations, insurances,..) and promoting the firm's investment services & solutions. We are looking for a motivated intern to join our team in Geneva.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare portfolio analytics, performance reporting, and investment presentations for institutional clients (pension funds, foundations, insurers), using Excel, Avaloq, and PowerPoint, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and clarity
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including prospect identification, institutional mapping, consultant coverage, pitchbook preparation, and systematic follow-up of commercial opportunities
  • Support client interactions, including pre-meeting preparation, agenda structuring, meeting summaries, and drafting of follow-up communications, with progressive exposure to calls and meetings based on performance
  • Maintain high-quality CRM data, ensuring accurate tracking of prospects, client interactions, and commercial pipelines
  • Execute KYC, onboarding, and compliance processes for new and existing clients, ensuring precision, timeliness, and full compliance with internal requirements
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Rothschild & Co’s investment offering, including all liquid asset management strategies (equities, fixed income, credit, multi-asset, structured solutions, and alternative liquid strategies) as well as private markets strategies, with the ability to translate these into clear written and presentation materials

Education

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Hospitality (EHL), or related field
  • CFA/CAIA path is a plus, with strong preference for candidates already enrolled

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Strong interest in institutional asset management, investments, and capital markets
  • Proven analytical rigor and ability to synthesize complex investment information clearly
  • Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint in a professional investment context
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or financial platforms is a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented, structured, and reliable
  • Strong execution mindset, able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work efficiently
  • Proactive, intellectually curious, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English; Swiss German / German is a strong plus

What We Expect in the First 3 Months

  • Become fully operational on internal tools and processes (CRM, reporting systems, compliance workflows)
  • Produce client and investment materials that meet institutional-quality standards
  • Demonstrate strong execution discipline: reliability, prioritization, and attention to detail
  • Take ownership of recurring tasks and proactively suggest process improvements
  • Begin contributing meaningfully to business development through prospect research and pitch support
