NeStep is a unique 12-month immersive experience at Nestlé in Switzerland for people who have recently completed their studies and want to learn fast, grow with purpose and make an impact. From day one, you spend at least half of your time owning one impactful project, combined with structured learning and continuous mentoring to deliver meaningful results.

As a NeStep Talent in Flavor Technologies at Nestlé, you will join our Flavour Technologies team in Konolfingen and contribute to the development of innovative nutrition products. Your mission will be to investigate flavor-matrix interactions in high-protein products and develop science-based solutions to improve flavor stability. Working closely with Product Development, Sensory Science and R&D experts, you will gain hands-on experience in food chemistry, analytical science and product innovation.

How you'll make an impact as a NeStep Talent in Flavor Technologies

• Lead a scientific project focused on flavor stability in a high-protein product.


• Design and conduct experiments, analyse results and identify route causes contributing to changes in flavor profile.


• Collaborate with cross-functional experts to develop and validate solutions for improved flavor stability.


• Translate scientific findings into actionable recommendations and present outcomes to a variety of stakeholders.
  

What will make you successful

• Recently completed Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific discipline


• Knowledge of food chemistry, strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Knowledge of flavors and flavor analytics (GC/MS) is a plus


• Experience with laboratory work, experimental design and data analysis gained through studies, research projects or internships


• Curiosity, initiative and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment


• Fluency in English (written & spoken), knowledge of German is a plus


• Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning, while translating ideas into measurable impact and creating shared value
  

Eligibility criteria

• Being a recent graduate from a Swiss higher education institution (master's degree completed within the last 12 months).


• Swiss nationals, EU/EFTA nationals, or C permit holders only
