As an R&D Chefs Culinarium Intern at Nestlé Research, you will help bring the future of food to life. Working alongside chefs, scientists and global cross-category teams, you will contribute to the creation of innovative food concepts and tasting experiences that support strategic innovation projects. From recipe conceptualization and culinary prototyping to high-impact tastings and events, you will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of culinary excellence and food innovation.

How you’ll make an impact as an R&D Chefs Culinarium Intern 

• Supporting the Culinary Flagship team in delivering memorable strategic tastings, leadership events and product showcases that bring innovation to life.


• Creating and refining culinary prototypes, transforming early concepts into engaging tasting experiences and project recommendations.


• Collaborating with chefs, scientists and cross-functional teams to explore new ideas and contribute to innovation projects.


• Capturing prototypes, recipes and project learnings in operational catalogues and databases to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.


• Exploring global food cultures, cooking techniques and consumer eating habits to build a deeper understanding of cuisines and culinary trends.

What will make you successful

• Currently pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts, with initial practical kitchen experience and a passion for food, recipe conceptualization, culinary storytelling, and creating memorable food experiences through high-impact presentations, plating, tasting experiences, and prototype creation.


• Curious and enthusiastic about learning how culinary creativity and science come together to develop innovative food products and concepts, with a proactive, self-driven mindset


• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


• Fluent in English, both written and spoken


• Demonstrates adaptability, agility, resilience and a continuous learning mindset.
