Technical Product Designer

As Lead R&D Engineer, you will serve as the technical architect of a hardware venture, driving the development of a scalable ecosystem of home -health products. You will design a modular PCB and firmware backbone adaptable across diverse applications, with an initial focus on a circadian -entrainment lamp. Through rapid hardware iterations and hands -on prototyping, you will advance concepts toward production readiness and lead their transition into scalable manufacturing in close collaboration with international partners.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree from ETH Zurich (D -ITET, D -HEST, or D -MAVT). 
  
• Strong background in electrical engineering, sensory systems, biomedical optics, or related fields.
  
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to bridge science, prototypes, and industrial design.
  
• Hands -on experience with PCB development, embedded firmware, and systems integration is highly valued.
  
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
