Chemist (Research)

We are looking for a Chemist to join us our Bursa Plant for an exciting Research project. In this role you are at the forefront or our Automotive Coatings technologies and will organize and conduct experiments to develop and improve product formulations. Under the direction from supervisor, you will provide technical support for new and existing products.

Location: Bursa Plant (we provide a shuttle service from the districts Nilüfer and Osmangazi)

Job type: On-Site, limited duration of 6 months, subject to extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop colour formulas and compare customer's sample with standard color cards.

• Organize, accurately carry out and draw conclusions from lab experiments following discussion with supervisors.

• Ensure all experimental work is recorded in appropriate lab notebooks, databases and project reports.

• Work safely, following all lab procedures and contribute to the maintenance of high safety standards.

• Provide technical support (guided by supervisor) to other functions especially sales and production.

• Contribute ideas for lab work involving new product development, existing product improvement, formula cost reduction, processes and procedural improvement.

• This role reports directly to the lab leader.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry.

• We prefer a minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical role at a relevant company within the chemical or coatings industry.

• We require English at a B1 level for communication with colleagues.
