Scope of the Role:


Reporting to the MENAT Director, We are seeking an experienced and driven Country Manager to lead our expansion in Turkey. This pivotal leadership position requires you to define and implement our country strategy, cultivate crucial partnerships, guarantee operational excellence, and manage a top-tier team. We require a strategic leader with extensive understanding of the Turkish market who can overcome intricate obstacles and capitalize on emerging prospect


What You'll Do



  • Shape the Future: Partner with our senior leadership to create and implement the strategy for Turkey, ensuring it aligns with our global goals.

  • Drive Operations: Build and manage the operational infrastructure necessary to support our business growth, continuously optimizing our payment processes to boost efficiency and conversion rates.

  • Forge Key Partnerships: Identify, cultivate, and negotiate strategic relationships with Central Bank of Turkey,Troy,banks, acquirers, payment processors, and other key stakeholders to unlock new opportunities for growth.

  • Collaborate and Align: Work closely with our expansion, product, technology, and legal teams to align on roadmaps and ensure seamless integration of partnerships.

  • Analyze and Optimize: Use data and market insights to analyze performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.

  • Ensure Compliance: Collaborate with our legal and compliance teams to ensure strict adherence to all local laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on any changes.

  • Represent Our Brand: Build and maintain a strong professional network, actively participating in industry events and organizations to enhance our brand presence in the market.


What You'll Need



  • Proven Expertise: A strong background in the Turkish payments or financial services sector.

  • Market Insight: A deep understanding of Turkish market dynamics, its regulatory landscape, and an extensive network within its payment ecosystem.

  • Strategic Vision: The ability to think strategically about operations and business development, with a track record of taking calculated risks that lead to significant growth.

  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading cross-functional projects and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

  • Negotiation Prowess: Excellent negotiation skills to secure and optimize commercial agreements.

  • Communication & Relationships: Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.

  • Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and work effectively across global teams and time zones.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: An analytical approach to translate data into actionable strategies.


A positive, inquisitive attitude and some technical proficiency are a plus.


Measures/KPIs:



  • Delivering on plan: TPV, Revenue, Gross Profit for Turkey

  • Diversification: # of merchants, verticals, merchant types in the Turkish market

  • Competitive Cost of Payments

  • Growth of market share in key Turkey payment segments (bank transfers, cards, mobile money)
