FMCG Carve out and PMO role

We are looking for a FMCG Carve out and PMO candidate for a consumer goods organization who is undertaking a significant strategic transformation initiative that will impact its operating model, processes, and organizational structure across multiple markets. The candidate will play a key role in coordinating complex transition activities and driving successful delivery of critical business objectives. The role involves close collaboration with local, regional, and global stakeholders, providing exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams while contributing to a high-impact strategic initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a major transformation program within the Turkey market.
  
• Manage project governance activities, ensuring clear tracking of milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
  
• Monitor project performance and proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate issues that may impact delivery timelines or business objectives.
  
• Coordinate transition planning activities and support operational readiness across relevant functions.
  
• Partner with local and global stakeholders to manage service transition requirements, resource planning, and associated project costs.
  
• Facilitate business continuity through effective knowledge transfer and data migration activities.
  
• Serve as a primary point of contact for project escalations, stakeholder communications, and decision-making processes.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Audit, Human Resources, Operations, Procurement, Technology, and other business units to ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
  
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across different regions and organizational levels.
  
• Prepare governance materials, progress reports, and executive updates for senior leadership.
  
• Drive alignment among project teams and ensure consistent adherence to agreed project plans and timelines.
  
• Support organizational change management activities to facilitate stakeholder engagement, adoption, and successful transition outcomes.
  
• Promote best practices in project management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the program.
  

Required Competences

• Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (Degree at Boğaziçi University, Bilkent University, Koç University, Sabancı University, ODTÜ is preferred).
  
• 7-8 years of professional experience in PMO role in Carveout project in Food industry, Business Transformation, Organizational Change, Integration, Separation, or related transformation-focused environments.
  
• Ability to interact with management control (Finance)
  
• Proven experience working within large, multinational, matrixed organizations.
  
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management across different functions and seniority levels.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex challenges and make data-driven decisions.
  
• High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  
• Proven ability to deliver results through cross-functional collaboration without direct line management authority.
  
• Professional proficiency in both Turkish and English, written and spoken.
  

Preferred Experience

• Certification in Project Management methodologies (PMP, Prince2, Agile, or equivalent) is considered advantageous.
