The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for the following processes and tasks:

Key Activities/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implement and develop the requirements of the Health and Safety System in line with Prysmian strategies and priorities.
• Assures all audits to ensure that organization and government standards on environmental health and safety are met.
• Understand regulatory changes and designs local initiatives to ensure compliance
• Responsible for assuring compliance of the Health and Safety management system with the requirements of this standard and reporting its performance to senior management.
• Conduct Pre‑Task Risk Assessments for high-risk activities to comply with company safety standards
• Ability to monitor, document, and report on safety‑related actions, providing clear updates to management and field teams
• Perform risk assessments on machinery and handling operations, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting, meeting all deadlines and maintaining compliance with internal and external requirements
• Actively participate in near‑miss and safety finding investigations, and lead accident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Participates in other key HSE initiatives as assigned by the HSEQA Manager.

Who are we looking for?

The Ideal Candidate should have the following skills:

• B class occupational safety certificate is a must preferably in production environment
• University degree preferably in Engineering fields
• Advanced level of at English written and spoken
• Extended knowledge of all local & global health and safety regulations
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and able to interact with both Desk and Non-desk workers
• Actively explore and understand customer needs
• Pursue focused Innovation & Improvement
• Promotes collaboration and coordination in the organization
• Always acts as a role model, ensuring the integrity and delivering on promises
• Keeping things simple in order to facilitate timely and focused decision making.
• Achieves consistent results focusing on priorities and ensuring both effectiveness and efficiency in the process of delivery
