We are looking for a Language Quality Expert who will improve the quality, accuracy, consistency, and naturalness of translations across viravira.co’s platform. The ideal candidate has excellent command of English, a strong background in languages, translation, linguistics, or a related field, and is comfortable using translation and AI tools to review, edit, and improve multilingual content.
This role will focus on reviewing machine -translated and AI -translated platform content, improving Turkish and English language quality, and coordinating quality improvements for other major languages. As viravira.co continues to grow globally, this position will play an important role in making our platform feel natural, trustworthy, and high -quality for international users.
What you'll be doing:
â Review, edit, and improve machine -translated and AI -translated content across the viravira.co platform.
â Improve the quality, clarity, grammar, consistency, and naturalness of Turkish and English platform translations.
â Review and improve translations for website pages, listing content, destination pages, product flows, emails, notifications, support texts, FAQs, and other user -facing content.
â Use translation tools, AI tools, glossaries, and style guides to improve translation quality and efficiency.
â Identify translation errors, unnatural wording, terminology inconsistencies, missing context, and localization issues.
â Create and maintain language quality guidelines, glossaries, terminology lists, and tone -of -voice rules.
â Work with product, marketing, SEO, and customer experience teams to ensure all translated content is accurate, clear, and user -friendly.
â Help improve translation workflows by giving feedback on AI translation outputs and machine translation quality.
â Coordinate with freelance translators, agencies, native speakers, or internal team members when needed.
â Perform quality checks for major platform languages and report recurring issues.
â Ensure language quality supports SEO, conversion, trust, and customer experience goals.
â Help make multilingual content sound natural, local, and consistent with viravira.co’s brand voice.
Gereksinimler
â Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting, English Language and Literature, Linguistics, Comparative Literature, Foreign Language Education, Communications, or a related language department.
â Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
â Excellent command of the English language – preferably native speaker level.
â Professional proficiency in Turkish.
â Professional proficiency in additional major languages such as German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Croatian, or Greek is a big plus.
â Any other language is a plus.
â 1+ years of experience in translation, localization, proofreading, editing, language quality assurance, content editing, or a similar role.
â Experience reviewing machine translation or AI -generated translations is a plus.
â Experience in travel, tourism, marketplace, e -commerce, SaaS, or digital platform localization is a plus.
â Excellent editing, proofreading, and language quality assessment skills.
â Strong understanding of grammar, style, tone, localization, terminology, and cultural context.
â Ability to identify literal translations, awkward phrasing, inconsistent terminology, and unclear user -facing copy.
â Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content.
â Ability to use AI tools effectively for translation review, rewriting, comparison, and quality improvement.
â Understanding of SEO content localization is a plus.
â Familiarity with UX writing, product copy, and customer communication is a plus.
â Experience with translation, localization, or CAT tools is a plus.
â Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar tools for translation review and editing.
â Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Docs, Sheets, Word, and Excel.
â Familiarity with content management systems, translation management systems, or localization platforms is a plus.
â Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar tools is a plus.
â Exceptional attention to detail.
â Strong written communication skills.
â Highly organized and able to manage multiple languages, tasks, and deadlines.
â Intellectually curious, language -sensitive, and eager to improve systems and processes.
â Comfortable working with AI tools and new technologies.
â Ability to work independently and as part of a cross -functional team.

â Candidates from language departments are strongly preferred.
