Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary 

Responsibilities and Duties​

• Design, implement, and maintain real-time data pipelines
  using: Pub/Sub for event, streaming, Dataflow for processing , BigQuery for
  analytics storage and Vertex AI & Gemini for ML/NLP model deployment
  
• Optimize pipelines for performance, reliability, and
  cost-efficiency.
  
• Develop secure APIs and backend services using Node.js with
  TypeScript.
  
• Integrate and manage Firebase services including: Firestore,
  Firebase Authentication, Cloud Functions
  
• Implement role-based access control and security best
  practices.
  
• Build Next.js (App Router) web applications for dashboards
  and admin tools.
  
• Ensure responsive and real-time UI/UX, integrating with
  backend and Firebase services.
  
• Automate cloud infrastructure setup and deployment using
  Terraform or similar tools.
  
• Manage IAM, secrets, and secure environment isolation.
  
• Monitor systems and application health using GCP monitoring
  tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering,
  backend development, or full-stack development.
  
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable
  cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)services such as
  Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery, Firebase, and Vertex AI.
  
• Strong background in Node.js (TypeScript), REST API
  development, and secure backend service design.
  
• Experience building and deploying frontend applications
  using Next.js (App Router) and responsive UI frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS).
  
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines,
  infrastructure provisioning (e.g., Terraform), and system monitoring with GCP
  tools.
  
• Familiarity with AI/ML model integration, real-time data
  pipelines, and performance optimization.
  
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, and scripting
  for automated testing is a plus.
  
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong
  collaboration and communication skills.
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with attention to
  detail and strong organizational skills.
