Senior Engineering Expert - Construction Supervision

PLANET S.A. is currently looking for Senior Engineering Experts in Hatay, Turkey, to support the site supervision of construction works related to drinking water distribution networks, sewage water networks, water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants.

The role involves construction supervision, site coordination, monitoring of works, quality control and technical reporting, ensuring that all activities are implemented in accordance with project requirements, technical specifications, applicable standards and health & safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of construction activities on site
• Site management and coordination with contractors and project teams
• Monitoring and controlling construction progress
• Quality assurance and quality control — QA/QC
• Review of technical documentation, reports and site records
• Preparation of progress reports and technical inputs
• Participation in site meetings and coordination meetings
• Monitoring compliance with technical specifications, contractual requirements and project timelines
• Supporting communication with contractors, stakeholders and project teams
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements

• University degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
• At least 8 years of professional experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision and/or infrastructure projects in water or wastewater sector
• Experience in EU or other international funded projects
• Good communication and organizational skills
• English speaking and writing skills will be considered an asset
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
