Job Description - Senior Marine & Governmental Sales Manager

Job Description

As being one of the core brand of Rolls Royce Power Systems, Rolls Royce Solutions Türkiye is equipped with the experience of more than 100 years on productions of diesel engines, manufactures and improves complete drive systems, Gas and Diesel Systems and their control / monitoring systems in wide range of product types and power ratings for heavy vehicles and equipment for construction and mining industry.
 
We are looking for Marine & Governmental Sales Manager;

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, implement and execute sales strategy for regional responsibility within the Marine and Government market.

  • Lead the Mobile and Government sales team responsible for sales of engines to partners and OEMs and drive a culture of high performance.

  • Accountability to deliver financial performance as per the operational planning.

  • Manage industry specific sales planning of order income, sales and turnover within the framework of strategic and operational planning as well as expected annual and monthly forecasts for the specific application.

  • Provide support by developing a proper business plan through annual business planning. Control and supervise the execution of the agreed business plan through quarterly business reviews. Negotiate and sign individual supply contracts and frame contracts with OEM’s and end-users.

  • Regular reporting of market development activities, planning, results and sales trends to the management of RR Solutions TR .

  • Systematic identification, analysis, and management of current or potentially important RRPS customers. Coordination and oversight of Key Account Sales penetration and activities within the existing RRS global organization.

  • Plan, coordinate and ensure successful execution of seminars, conferences, roadshows etc. to increase the brand awareness, influence specs to improve market penetration.

  • Provide local market view on product requirements, competition benchmarking to influence product development.

  • Coordinate customer demands with multinational affect with the second level after sales organization and the distribution network outside of the area of responsibility.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and take measures to keep and develop high level of customer satisfaction

  • Inform staff of compliance regulations (RRPS Integrity Code, relevant corporate guidelines, bylaws and legal provisions) and about the compliance organization
    of the RRPS Group.

  • Promote compliance culture in your own area of responsibility

  • Motivate staff to act in accordance with compliance rules

  • Live the letter and the spirit of the RRPS Integrity code.

  • Coordinate with order management and after-sales teams to manage the sales order from contract until completion of delivery and installation

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in field appropriate for the function required with a background in Engineering or Business Administration field.

  • At least 10 years of sales, distributor network development or business management in the industry with minimum 5 years of experience at a regional sales leadership profile with team management experience

  • Requires an excellent understanding across the business, its technologies, products and processes, having a track record in relationship management, can demonstrate strategic thinking, and as a minimum a significant understanding of business development, sales, commercial, and customer services.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience in consulting, collaborating with, and influencing across all levels including the senior management both within RRPS and distributors / dealers

  • Demonstrable leadership and coaching skills with the ability to manage a diverse service and field engineering team to drive a high performance culture in region.

  • Analytical thinker with an aptitude for problem solving. Experience of using structured change management process for complex change efforts within a function or business unit

  • Strong experience across program management and process improvement and change management initiatives.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in English
