Adjunct Lecturer / Teaching Assistant in Film

Role Summary

• Deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate students enrolled in the Film programme.
  


• Actively contribute to initiatives that identify, promote, and implement best practices in teaching and learning across the faculty and institution.
  


• Enhance the student experience and improve educational outcomes.
  


• Collaborate closely with teaching, technical, and administrative staff to ensure a superior teaching and learning environment.
  

Requirements

• For Adjunct Lecturer: Appropriate academic qualifications at the postgraduate level.
  


• For Teaching Assistant: Graduate-level qualifications.
  


• Minimum of 3 years of technical work experience in the Film/Media industry.
  

• Certification in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, or similar.
  


• Training in Blackmagic Design ecosystems (Preferred) or similar.
  


• Comprehensive knowledge of production workflows and equipment (cameras, rigging, lighting).
  


• Certification and training in professional software programs for sound design (Protools, Fairlight).
  


• Knowledge of on-set audio workflows.
  


• Understanding of multi-cam workflows.
