AP (Authorized Person)

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of AP (Authorized Person) in Abu Dhabi. Our client is a reputed organization in the Inspection and Maintenance Services sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Assess technical and operational risks before authorizing execution activities.
  
• Review structural and operational parameters to confirm readiness for planned work.
  
• Evaluate inspection and maintenance activities against applicable technical requirements.
  
• Grant high-level execution authorization only after required technical conditions are satisfied.
  
• Identify unsafe, non-compliant, or technically unacceptable conditions and withhold authorization where necessary.
  
• Coordinate with inspection, maintenance, and operational personnel to resolve technical issues before execution.
  
• Maintain clear records of technical reviews, risk evaluations, and authorization decisions.
  
• Support safe and controlled execution of inspection and maintenance activities through technical oversight.
  

Required Skills

1. Risk Assessment: Ability to identify, evaluate, and control technical and operational risks before execution.
   
2. Technical Authorization: Capability to make informed authorization decisions for high-level execution activities.
   
3. Structural/Operational Review: Strong ability to evaluate structural and operational parameters before approving work.
   
4. Inspection & Maintenance Oversight: Understanding of technical controls associated with inspection and maintenance activities.
   
5. Technical Compliance: Ability to verify that execution conditions satisfy required technical and safety parameters.
   

Preferred Skills

• Strong technical documentation and review capability.
  
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary inspection and maintenance teams.
  
• Familiarity with structured permit, authorization, or execution-control processes.
  

Work Experience Requirements

The posting requires 5 years of experience. Candidates should have practical experience in technical assessment, risk evaluation, inspection/maintenance environments, or comparable execution-authorization responsibilities. Experience involving independent technical judgment and approval of work activities is preferred.

Education

• Minimum: Typical — Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering/technical discipline
  
• Preferred: Typical — Engineering degree or relevant advanced technical qualification
  
• Additional: Role-specific Authorized Person / technical competency certification where applicable
