Stantec is seeking a talented and motivated design professional to advance our architectural practice. The role of Architect will involve a wide range of project types in support of our current, high-profile client base.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide design within our emerging commercial architectural practice. Given our high-profile client base regionally, design talent and the ability to communicate and generate strong design ideas is a key component of this role.
• Provide conceptual architectural design to the current range of master planning projects as well as take a leading role in vertical architecture work. Develop a portfolio of commercial architectural projects, providing design leadership while ensuring the quality of information reflects the requirements of Stantec's standard policies and procedures.
• Manage the design process from inception through concept, schematic design, detail design to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
• Coordinating with design leadership across offices to ensure best practice is achieved and the highest quality outcomes are delivered to clients.
• Coordinating across offices for resource support and management where required
• Support the local Business Center Lead and Sector Leaders, with a specific focus on assisting growth in the commercial sector.
• Helping develop and maintain a network of client relationships, maintaining a pipeline of project opportunities.

Person Specifications and Qualifications:

1. Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Architecture.
2. UAE National
3. Minimum of 2 years being Architect focus on design.
4. Expert in Revit architecture with a commitment to continuing professional development.
5. Knowledge in Architectural principles, techniques, and technical detailing is required to execute the Architectural working drawings to acceptable international standards.
6. Should be able to work alone or as part of a team, taking ownership for assigned deliverables & outputs.
7. Strong in communication skills (written/verbal) and able to contribute effectively to discipline specific discussions
   Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact with team members of different disciplines.
8. Practical, hands-on and up-to-date experience in Architectural design.
9. Be inventive and imaginative in building design and master planning.
10. Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player, keen to develop with our growing organization.
11. Demonstrated experience in using current architectural software packages including Revit Architecture.
12. Knowledge of Navisworks, 3DStudio MAX, Rhino and Photoshop is added advantage.
13. Dynamic with good organizational skills and able to multi-task.
