Business Development Manager Construction & Infrastructure

Job Summary

XAD Technologies is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) – Construction & Infrastructure to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic client relationships, and drive revenue growth across the UAE market. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in B2B business development for construction services, infrastructure projects, or related contracting services, along with a strong network of developers, contractors, consultants, and government entities.

Important: Candidates with experience exclusively in product sales will not be considered. Relevant experience in construction services, project-based business development, or infrastructure contracting is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in construction and infrastructure.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and government entities.
• Generate qualified leads and acquire new clients and business accounts.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Identify upcoming construction projects, tenders, and infrastructure opportunities across the UAE.
• Develop business proposals, quotations, and commercial offers in coordination with internal teams.
• Promote construction-related services, including civil works, MEP, infrastructure, manpower supply, and facilities services.
• Coordinate with technical, operations, estimation, and project teams to ensure effective project handover and execution.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential projects and business opportunities.
• Achieve assigned business development, sales, and revenue targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Maintain long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in B2B business development within the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE construction market and established industry contacts.
• Experience in one or more of the following sectors:
  • Construction and Contracting Services
  • Civil Works and Infrastructure Projects
  • MEP Services
  • Manpower Supply and Workforce Solutions
  • Facilities Management Services
  • Building and Infrastructure Projects
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop client accounts, negotiate contracts, and secure new projects.
• Strong understanding of project-based business development, commercial proposals, and tendering processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and achieve business growth targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE construction or infrastructure industry experience.
• Existing relationships with developers, main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and government entities.
• Experience identifying and pursuing construction tenders and project opportunities.
• UAE driving license.
• Immediate availability or short notice period.
