The Caregiver Reliever provides comprehensive care for individuals who have lost their families, within a healthy and supportive environment. This includes offering emotional security and family stability to foster growth in an educational setting that nurtures development through constructive and modern methods. The goal is to enhance their abilities, promote self-reliance, and support their successful integration into society.
Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Instil noble values, reinforce good principles and morals, and strengthen national identity and a sense of belonging in the hearts of children.
Facilitate the participation of children in periodic artistic and cultural activities organized by various entities across the country.
Implement rehabilitation plans prepared by the psychological and/or social worker related to the children’s daily activities.
Ensure that the needs of the care home are communicated to the administration, including the provision of clothing, food, and other essential supplies for the beneficiaries.
Ensure the security and safety of the care home and report any concerns to the designated care home specialist and the Head of the Homecare Department.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on the beneficiaries residing in the care home.
Prepare and submit periodic financial expenditure reports to the care home management.
Monitor the quality of services provided by assistive workers within the care home and report any concerns or feedback to the care home management as needed.
Ensure that prescribed medications are administered to beneficiaries in accordance with treatment plans and procedures and the doctor’s instructions.
Inform the care home specialist and the Head of Department of any emergencies or accidents, regardless of severity, and report any injuries that may require ambulance services.
Adhere to and work in compliance with applicable federal and local policies, laws, and internal regulations related to children’s rights (e.g., Wadeema Law), child protection, rights of people with disabilities, domestic violence, children of unknown parentage, and alternative care policies for children with known parents but without care.
Work in shifts, including overnight stays.
Carry out tasks and responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor.
Prepare and submit reports periodically or upon request to the Head of Department and the designated care home specialist to support decision-making.
Report any operational risks or obstacles that may hinder the achievement of departmental goals and recommend corrective actions to minimize disruptions and ensure timely goal attainment.
Support financial and organizational management functions.
Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures relevant to the role.
Provide support to junior employees and peers as needed.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, when requested, to follow up on programs and operational processes and ensure departmental objectives are met.
Ensure that departmental strategic plans align with the sector’s comprehensive plans.
Coordinate care home activities and procedures as required.
Ensure compliance with applicable goals and performance indicators.
Cooperate with affiliated entities in the implementation of strategies, initiatives, and policies related to the institution.
Provide supervision and guidance to affiliated entities to ensure compliance with procedures.
Expected to provide relief cover for project staff, annual leave, or sickness at short notice.
Promote ethical behavior and alignment with Aspen Medical’s Social Purpose and B Corp principles.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations and Recruitment Manager.
Qualifications Essential
Highest educational attainment.
Police clearance is required.
Psychological test result is required.
Excellent command of the Arabic language, both written and spoken.
Extensive knowledge and expertise in caring for children.
Strong working knowledge of child development.
Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and patience.
Exceptional listening skills, compassion, and the ability to remain calm at all times.
Ability to stimulate innovation.
Openness to and encouragement of change.
Demonstrated leadership and empowerment skills.
Active participation and ability to build partnerships.
