Job Description - Chinese National Business Development Executive

Location:



Dubai, UAE.

The Business Development Executive (Chinese National) will support the Business Development team in expanding the company’s presence across the Middle East, with a particular focus on Chinese clients, partners, contractors, consultants, and developers operating in the region. The successful candidate will help generate leads, support proposal development, coordinate client communications, and contribute to business growth initiatives.



The ideal candidate is a motivated and ambitious business development professional with excellent communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English, a strong customer-focused mindset, and previous exposure to the construction, engineering, BIM, or technology industries. Experience working in or with the markets of Saudi Arabia and/or Dubai (UAE) is highly preferred.



Core, Essential Responsibilities:




  • Support the expansion of the company’s market presence within the construction and engineering sectors.

  • Assist in quotation, proposal preparation, and negotiation activities for new opportunities.

  • Identify and maintain a list of current and upcoming construction and infrastructure projects.

  • Track sales activities, leads, opportunities, and client interactions.

  • Deliver company overview and introductory sales presentations.

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Support lead generation activities using various communication and networking channels.

  • Coordinate meetings and follow-up activities with prospects and clients.

  • Promote the company’s solutions and services to targeted accounts.

  • Support account management activities for existing clients and partners.

  • Assist in preparing techno-commercial proposals and bid submissions.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.

  • Support business development efforts related to BIM, Digital Engineering, and Construction Technology services.

  • Coordinate with Operations and Technical teams during pre-sales engagements.

  • Assist in feasibility studies and project opportunity assessments.

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent) and ensure timely follow-ups.

  • Support communication and relationship management with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders across the Middle East region.



Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Tasks:




  • Support business development initiatives aligned with company objectives.

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of business development deliverables, including presentations, proposals, and client documentation. 

  • Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly performance targets.

  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and prospects.

  • Coordinate meetings between prospects and internal technical team

  • Participate in strategic planning and business growth discussions.

  • Provide market insights related to Chinese clients and regional opportunities.




Minimum Requirements:



Education:



Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.



Experience:




  • 5 Yeas experience as a Business Developer/Sales in an Engineering or contracting company.

  • Current or previous work experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA) and/or Dubai (UAE) is highly preferred.

  • Experience working with Chinese companies, contractors, consultants, or developers is an advantage.



Training:



MS Office Suite, CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, Pandadocs), Power BI, Leica Geosystems HDS, Leica Geosystems Machine Control Systems, Leica Geosystems GPS / TPS Sales



Competencies:



Knowledge:


Marketing, Business Development, Client Management, Sales process, Customer needs, Sales opportunities., Terminology, standards, and practices of software applications: BIM tools,


, Fluency in English. Another language is an asset, Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Power BI and an above average utilization of Excel and CRM (Dynamics) software., Construction industry and software sales., Construction methods, terminologies, processes, and systems., Plans, specifications, and the various possibilities of BIM modelling,  International Business, BIM, BIM Lead, International Sales, BIM Business, International business development.,
