Civil Engineer G+4 License

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in building construction and proven experience in managing civil engineering activities from site investigation and planning through execution and completion. The ideal candidate should hold a valid Dubai Municipality G+4 license/approval and have strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform civil engineering activities for building construction projects, including site investigation, planning, design coordination, and construction execution.

Prepare and review site layouts, construction drawings, design calculations, and technical documents.

Conduct site surveys and prepare accurate field data, reports, and technical documentation.

Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Plan and monitor civil construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.

Review and interpret civil, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Prepare material requirements, monitor material usage, and carry out material reconciliation and quantity tracking.

Support project planning, site mobilization, project initiation, and resource requirements.

Supervise site activities and ensure construction works are completed as per approved designs and specifications.

Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality requirements, UAE building regulations, health and safety standards, and project specifications.

Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management.

Use AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software for drawings and technical documentation.

Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant teams to implement appropriate technical solutions.

Maintain proper project records, reports, drawings, and documentation.

Perform other duties related to civil construction and project execution as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Valid Dubai Municipality G+4 license/approval is mandatory.

Minimum 5 years of relevant UAE construction experience preferred.

Strong experience in building construction and civil works.

Good knowledge of UAE construction practices, Dubai Municipality requirements, and relevant regulations.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Strong knowledge of site supervision, planning, quantity estimation, material reconciliation, and project coordination.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and manage site activities effectively.

UAE driving license is an advantage.
