The Crew Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of crew personnel, from sourcing and vetting through contracting, onboarding, deployment, and structured offboarding. The role ensures smooth, compliant, and scalable crew operations by maintaining standardized processes, accurate documentation, and clear communication across all stakeholders.
Working in close partnership with the Project Talent Specialist, who will have a primary focus on recruitment and onboarding, as an equal counterpart within the Project Talent function, both roles collaborate to align workforce planning, availability, and deployment strategies to meet project and operational demands. Together, they support and complement each other’s scope while jointly contributing to a unified talent operations approach, both reporting into the Head of Project Talent Unit.
The Crew Manager also oversees the coordination of travel and accommodation logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective crew mobilization. Acting as an internal consultant, the role supports business units and project teams in defining requirements, planning crew structures, and optimizing resource allocation, contributing to high personnel standards and continuous process improvement.
