Demand Planner

Overview:

The Demand Planner is responsible for creating and managing accurate demand forecasts that align with the company’s sales strategies. This role entails analyzing historical sales data, market trends, new product launches, and marketing campaigns to predict future sales and inventory needs. Close collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams is essential to ensure that inventory levels meet monthly sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive demand forecasts to support overall sales strategies.


• Analyze sales data, item performance, and inventory levels weekly, presenting insights to the General Manager.


• Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure inventory aligns with anticipated sales goals.


• Coordinate with the Accounts team to schedule future purchase orders, ensuring inventory levels support company growth while avoiding overstock.


• Identify potential risks, such as stockouts, and propose actionable plans to mitigate these risks.


• Stay informed on market trends and consumer behaviors to refine forecasts as needed.
