Documentation Supervisor

Job purpose

To provide proper customer service with related to DO collection, Customs related works; handle other import/export related work documents.

Job responsibilities

• Make sure that all operation related to documentation department is undertaken properly and all work done in time by documentation assist and clerk.


• To oversee deposit and custom standing guarantee record / IOU of assistant.


• Constantly keep in touch with corporate clients and keep them updated on changes by issuing circular after approval from Operation Manager.


• See to that delegated job or customer assigned job are taken care by assistance and clerks.


• To run the department without any compliant.


• Ensure timely closer of job files.


• Co-ordinate with all operation staff for smooth running of the operation.


• Prepare the Quote as and when requested by Sales Manager.


• Keep the Freight rates updated and reply to Sales manager as and when requested.


• Keep yourself updated on day-to-day changes in rules and regulation of Customs and other related Govt: department and tariff in shipping / customs / port / chamber / consulates or any other related to documentation job.


• Ensure the compliance of Customs rules and regulation on all transaction.


• Provide all sort of report and support as and when requested by Sales & Freight Forwarding Manager.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation from any reputed University level

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in same industry

Competencies

• Able to get on with others and be a team player and interpersonal relations & be able to work in multicultural environment.


• Good knowledge in computer applications and excellent communication skill both oral and written.

Languages

• Able to read English.
