Job Description - ELV Presales Engineer

  • Analyze client requirements, drawings, and tender documents for ELV and security systems.
  • Design and propose solutions for CCTV, Access Control, Gate Barriers, ANPR, Intercom, and Physical Security Systems.
  • Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, cost estimations, and compliance statements.
  • Develop system architecture, solution diagrams, and technical submittals.
  • Coordinate with sales, project, and engineering teams to ensure accurate solution design.
  • Support the sales team during client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Review RFPs, RFQs, and tender specifications and ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with vendors and technology partners for product selection and pricing.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with networking, cabling, and system integration requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies in ELV, smart city, and security systems.

  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.
  • 4–5 years of experience in ELV Presales / Design / Solutions Engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of:
    1. CCTV & Video Surveillance (IP -based systems, VMS)
    2. Access Control Systems
    3. Gate Barriers / Parking Systems
    4. Physical Security & Integrated Security Systems
    5. Smart City Solutions (advantage)
    6. Networking & Structured Cabling
  • BOQ preparation & estimation.
  • Vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with ELV standards and best practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple proposals
  • Good coordination and stakeholder management
