Fashion Designer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent illustration skills, and a deep understanding of garment construction and fashion trends. You will be responsible for designing ready-to-wear (RTW) collections from concept to production, ensuring each piece reflects our brand identity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  Research fashion trends, fabrics, and inspirations to develop seasonal collections

  Conceptualize and sketch original designs with clear creative direction

  
  


• 
  

  Develop moodboards, select color palettes, trims, and materials

  
  


• 
  

  Create detailed tech packs, including artwork, beadwork, and specifications for sample making and production

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with pattern makers, tailors, cutters, and beaders to ensure high-quality execution of designs

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure consistency in design and production quality through ongoing oversight and fittings

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with the creation and modification of patterns for RTW collections under guidance

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in fittings and incorporate technical and design feedback into pattern adjustments

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain organized records of patterns, beadwork, technical notes, and production documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Support the preparation of technical sheets, grading, and production specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and update the tailors’ performance tracking board

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with production and sales teams to align design with market demand

  
  


• 
  

  Stay informed about global fashion trends, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field

  
  


• 
  

  2+ years of proven design experience, preferably in RTW or contemporary fashion

  
  


• 
  

  Strong skills in sketching, illustration, and moodboard development

  
  


• 
  

  In-depth understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and sewing techniques

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities

  
  


• 
  

  Strong sense of style, color coordination, and attention to detail

  
  


• 
  

  Fluent in English (written and verbal)

  
  


• 
  

  A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills

  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

  Previous experience working on beadwork or embellished garments
