Functional Analyst - (SAP Billing, GIS, portals, AMI integrations, UAT)

We have an urgent requirement for  Functional Analyst - (SAP Billing, GIS, portals, AMI integrations, UAT, test cases, meter/readings) for our client in Dubai, UAE

Strong understanding of HES, MDMS, EI Server, Utility IQ, Energy IP, smart metering, and AMI architecture--Must.
Gather requirements, conduct stakeholder workshops, define utility use cases, prepare functional specifications/SRS, and improve HES/MDMS processes--Must.

Experience with SAP Billing, GIS, portals, AMI integrations, UAT, test cases, meter/readings troubleshooting, and data-quality issues--Must.Knowledge of DLMS, M-Bus, PLC, RF, 3G/4G, billing processes, Visio/process workflows, and managed service KPIs/SLAs/operations--Must.

Job purpose:

Understanding the utilities business requirements and translate it to the functional specifications for AMI solutions including the Head-End-System (HES), Meter Data Management System (MDMS) and the integration with third party systems such as SAP Billing, GIS, and portals. Moreover, well known of managed service agreements, KPIs, SLAs, operations, regularities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering and Business Analysis: document the functional requirements related to the AMI after working closely with operation, billing, and IT teams, analyze existing HES/MDMS processes and propose improvements, and facilitating the workshops between the stakeholders.


• Functional design: map the business requirements to functional specifications, clarify the utilities use cases, meter events and integrations requirements


• Integration and testing: prepare the testing plan, test cases, and participate in the UAT. Facilitate the integration and validate the integration points between AMI components and third-party solutions.


• Data Quality: able to troubleshoot the issues related to meters, readings, and data issues.


• Documentation: prepare the SRS documents, processes, and procedures, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, engineering, or related field


• 6+ years of experience in utilities, AMI solution providers, business analysis.

Key Skills:

• Comprehensive understanding of AMI architecture and components: EI Server, Utility IQ and Energy IP


• Familiar of smart metering protocols such as DLMS and M-Bus


• Well known of AMI communications such as PLC, RF and 3G/4G.


• In depth knowledge of process workflows platforms such as Visio


• Understanding of billing process


• Excellent communication skills
