Head Chef - Premium Mediterranean Restaurant

We are looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen of an established, premium Mediterranean restaurant in Dubai, part of an international multi-brand hospitality group with venues across the globe. The kitchen is already in a strong place - a settled team, a good culture, and smooth day-to-day operations. This is an opportunity to bring fresh creative energy to a Mediterranean menu that's ready to be pushed further, with new flavours, real technical strength, and food that feels exciting again without losing the identity of the restaurant.

The group is looking for someone who is genuinely obsessed with food, comes from a premium and relevant restaurant, and is ingredient-led and technically strong - a hands-on chef who wants to be in the kitchen tasting, cooking and developing dishes with the team, not managing from an office.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the kitchen's daily food quality, creativity and consistency across the menu
• Develop and refine dishes that push the restaurant's Mediterranean cuisine forward - new flavours, technique and ideas - while protecting the identity of the concept
• Lead, coach and develop the existing brigade, building on an already strong team culture
• Source and work with high-quality, seasonal ingredients, maintaining deep knowledge of provenance and seasonality
• Maintain a hands-on daily presence on the pass - tasting, cooking and developing dishes alongside the team
• Manage food cost, wastage, purchasing and kitchen variances with strong commercial awareness
• Work closely with the General Manager and the group's central culinary and operations teams to maintain brand alignment

• Currently a Head Chef in an premium, high-volume dining establishment (200–400 covers a day)
• Strong Mediterranean cuisine background, with excellent knowledge of food and seasonality of ingredients
• Experience working within a group/multi-brand restaurant structure is preferred
• A proven track record of job stability in high-end, high-expectation environments
• Genuinely ingredient-led, technically strong and creative - able to push a menu forward with real flavour and technique, not gimmicks
• A hands-on leader who wants to be in the kitchen, not an "office chef"
• Formal food safety / HACCP certification, or the ability to obtain the certification required to work in a UAE kitchen
• Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the right to work in the United Arab Emirates

• Salary: AED 25,000 – 30,000 per month DOE, all-inclusive package (exact structure to be confirmed during the process)

This is a permanent, full-time, single-status position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a target start date of

November 2026. Candidates must hold, or be able to obtain, the right to work in the UAE; relocation support can be
