Summary:
We are a new UAE -based value exchange
company, building a team of ambitious and experienced payment and fintech
experts. As the Head of Development at Shukur, you will play a pivotal role in
driving the strategic direction and execution of our product roadmap. You will recruit
and lead a dynamic team of technical resources to collaborate closely with
cross -functional teams to deliver market -leading fintech solutions. This role
offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of finance through innovation,
strategic planning, and user -centric product development.

 

To be
considered for this role, you will have experience across merchant acquiring,
card issuing and digital wallet. We are looking for someone hands -on with
previous software engineering experience to take control of our mobile
experience and expedite the delivery of new features within our roadmap. You ideally
possess 10+ years of relevant work experience with previous experience in a fintech/
payments/ remittances organization and knowledge of working within a regulated
framework.


Candidates with a strong
background in utilizing low code / no code development platforms are highly
sought after for this position.

 

Key
Responsibilities

As the Head of Development, you will be responsible for developing
and optimizing the company's product and supporting the company's strategic
direction to capitalize on future changes and growth opportunities.

  1. Product Strategy Development: Define and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned
    with the company's vision, goals, and market trends. Drive initiatives to
    differentiate Shukur's product offerings and maintain a competitive edge
    in the fintech industry.

  2. Team Leadership and
    Development:
    Lead, mentor, and inspire a team
    of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous
    learning, and excellence. Provide guidance and support to enable team
    members to achieve their full potential and deliver outstanding results.

  3. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and
    concept validation to development, launch, and ongoing optimization.
    Ensure that product initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and
    meet quality standards.

  4. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify
    customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use data -driven
    insights to inform product decisions, prioritize features, and drive
    innovation.

  5. Roadmap Planning and
    Prioritization:
    Develop and maintain a clear
    product roadmap that aligns with business objectives, customer feedback,
    and market opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize
    features and initiatives based on strategic importance and resource
    constraints.

  6. Cross -functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and
    other teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of product
    initiatives. Foster a culture of collaboration and communication to drive
    alignment and achieve shared goals.

  7. User Experience and Design: Champion user -centric design principles and ensure that
    Shukur's products deliver intuitive, engaging, and delightful user
    experiences. Collaborate with design teams to create prototypes,
    wireframes, and user interfaces that meet user needs and preferences.

  8. Product Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track
    the success and impact of Shukur's products. Analyze data insights, gather
    customer feedback, and iterate on product strategies to drive continuous
    improvement and innovation.

  9. Regulatory Compliance and Risk
    Management:
    Stay informed about regulatory
    requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to fintech
    products and services. Ensure that Shukur's products comply with
    applicable regulations and mitigate any potential risks.

  10. Stakeholder Communication and
    Relationship Management:
    Communicate product
    vision, progress, and outcomes effectively to internal stakeholders,
    executives, investors, and external partners. Build and maintain strong
    relationships with key stakeholders to drive alignment and support for
    product initiatives.


Requirements

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's
degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or
advanced degree is a plus.

·       Proven
track record of
10+ years in product management or related roles within the fintech
industry.

·       Proficiency
in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, with experience leading Agile
product development teams and implementing Agile best practices.

·       Experience
with low code / no code development platforms is highly desirable.

·       Strong
knowledge and practical experience with DevOps principles, practices, and
methodologies, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and
automation.

·       Strong
leadership skills with experience in leading and developing high -performing
teams.

·       Deep
understanding of fintech products, technologies, and market dynamics.

·       Excellent
strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and problem -solving skills.

·       Exceptional
communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
