In Process Laboratory Technician

ROLE PURPOSE

• Testing & Preparation: Prepare specimens and perform laboratory tests such as FAW, RAW, IC, and sample cutting.
  

• Safety Compliance: Conduct all testing using approved PPE (including respirators) and report "Near Misses" to the HSE Manager.
  

• Equipment Oversight: Ensure all equipment is calibrated and functional; notify management of upcoming calibration due dates or malfunctions.
  

• Data & Documentation: Record technical data in daily logs and equipment books, prepare graphs via computer, and support IPL documentation.
  

• Quality & Efficiency: Follow strict methodologies for analysis and contribute to cost -efficient resource usage to reduce waste.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  

  Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  

• Core Skills:
  

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), Google Workspace, SAP, and LIMS.
    

    
    

  • Experience with composite material testing (Insoluble Content, Fiber Aerial Weight) and analytical balances preferred.
    

    
    

  • Ability to be certified for half -face/mask cartridge respirator use.
    

    
    

  • Strong ability to read and understand technical procedures and specifications
    

Working Conditions

• Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
  

  
  

• Schedule: 5 days per week on a rotating shift pattern (Day, Afternoon, Night).
  

  
  

• Physical Demands: Requires standing for extended periods and lifting/pulling various process tools and materials.
  

  
  

• Hazardous Materials: Involves safe handling and processing of regulated or hazardous substances.
