Infrastructure - Sr. Engineer (Water)

Summary
KN International is looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Infrastructure - Sr. Engineer (Water) to join our infrastructure design team. This role
involves the planning, design, and documentation of wet utility systems,
including water supply, wastewater, irrigation, and stormwater networks. The
successful candidate will have strong experience in hydraulic modeling, BIM
integration, and authority coordination within the UAE, particularly in Abu
Dhabi.

Key
Responsibilities

·         Prepare
engineering reports and design documentation for water, wastewater, irrigation,
and stormwater infrastructure.

·         Perform
hydraulic modeling and analysis for pressurized and gravity systems.

·         Develop
detailed design drawings using Civil 3D within a BIM environment.

·         Ensure
timely and high-quality delivery of design submissions in line with client and
authority requirements.

·         Conduct
technical reviews and contribute to progress reporting.

·         Liaise
with developers, clients, and local authorities to facilitate design approvals
and provide project updates.

·         Coordinate
the preparation and submission of design packages, ensuring compliance with
contractual obligations.

·         Identify
and report any deviations from project requirements, and recommend solutions.

·         Support
other disciplines with design input and cross-department collaboration.

·         Assist
Senior Engineers and Managers with project coordination and documentation
tasks.

·         Provide
support during marketing efforts, proposals, and client presentations.

·         Conduct
quantity take-offs and prepare preliminary cost estimates for wet utility
services.

Required
Qualifications & Skills

·         Minimum
Bachelors’ Degree in Civil Engineering; progressing towards Professional
Registration (CEng or similar) with membership in a professional institution.

·         10
years of relevant UAE experience in the wet infrastructure systems.

·         Proven
expertise in pressurized and gravity systems, and proficient in Civil 3D and
hydraulic modeling tools.

·         In-depth
understanding of Abu Dhabi authority guidelines and design approval processes.

·         Strong
knowledge of local authority requirements (DPM/UPC, ADDC, TRANSCO, DoE/ADWEA,
ETISALAT, DU, RSB, ADM, DEWA, RTA, DM).

·         Experience
with BIM platforms and related tools (ProjectWise, InfraWorks, Navisworks,
OpenUtilities, etc.).

·         Strong
background in infrastructure design with a focus on wet utilities.

·         Excellent
communication, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills.

·         PMP or
similar project management qualifications are a plus.

·         Must
be willing to work at Liwa, Western Region, Abu Dhabi
