Lead Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled
and experienced Lead Technical Architect / Technologist to join a dynamic
award-winning multi-disciplined company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have
extensive expertise in technical architecture and architectural design, with a
strong command of Revit. This role is perfect for a technically proficient
individual with the ability to lead complex projects and deliver innovative
architectural solutions. The Lead Technical Architect will play a pivotal role
in the design, development, and execution of projects while providing guidance
to junior architects and technologists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Project Oversight: Lead and manage
  the technical design process for architectural projects from
  conceptualization through to construction. Provide strategic direction and
  technical oversight to ensure design solutions meet both client expectations
  and project goals.
  
• Revit Expertise: Use Revit as the primary tool for
  creating detailed architectural models, plans, elevations, and sections.
  Manage the creation of parametric models, 3D visualization, and technical
  drawings to the highest standard.
  
• Design Development & Detailing: Take ownership
  of the technical development and detailing of architectural solutions.
  Ensure accuracy and clarity in all technical documentation and drawings,
  while adhering to local and international building codes and standards.
  
• Coordination Across Disciplines: Work closely with
  other design and engineering disciplines (e.g., structural, MEP) to
  integrate all technical aspects of a project. Coordinate and resolve
  technical challenges in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
  
• Technical Review: Perform comprehensive technical
  reviews of all architectural and engineering documents to ensure
  compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
  
• Quality Control: Ensure the highest level of
  technical accuracy and quality control throughout the project's lifecycle.
  Conduct regular reviews and revisions of design work to resolve any issues
  or discrepancies.
  
• Client Interaction: Serve as the primary technical
  point of contact for clients. Provide technical expertise and insights
  during meetings, presentations, and design workshops. Advise clients on
  design solutions, materials, systems, and construction processes.
  
• Mentoring & Training: Lead, mentor, and train
  junior architects, technologists, and project team members to help enhance
  their skills and professional development. Cultivate a collaborative and
  effective working environment.
  
• Innovation & Research: Stay up to date with the
  latest architectural technologies, trends, and best practices. Integrate
  innovative solutions into the design process, ensuring projects utilize
  the most current industry practices.
  

Requirements

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture,
Architectural Technology, or a related field.

·        Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural
design and technical architecture, with a focus on high-level technical
detailing and design execution.

·        Revit Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Revit
for architectural modeling, detailing, and documentation. Ability to create and
manage parametric models and 3D visualizations.

·        Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of
construction methods, architectural detailing, material properties, and
building systems. Ability to translate complex design concepts into technical
drawings and buildable solutions.

·        Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of
local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Ability to navigate
complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance.

·        Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and
written communication skills. Ability to articulate technical details and
design solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·        Leadership & Collaboration: Proven
leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Strong
collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within
multidisciplinary teams.

·        Software Skills: Advanced knowledge of Revit,
AutoCAD, and other related design and documentation software. Familiarity with
additional tools like Rhino, SketchUp, or 3ds Max is a plus.

·        Experience in leading and managing large-scale,
complex architectural projects.

·        Background in sustainable design practices and
energy-efficient building systems.

·        Experience with advanced architectural
visualization and presentation techniques.

·        Knowledge of project management tools and
methods.
